Creation of a job service for West Virginia Seniors
My husband was forced into early retirement at age 55 due to the sale and closure of the mining complex where he had worked for 32 years. He is now 57 and we must wait for another 2 years before we can draw from his IRA annuities and over 4 years before we can start drawing early social security.
We need a job service to be organized for people like us who are retired and need another job between the time we were forced into early retirement and the time that we are able to start drawing from our IRA's and Social Security.
Is there any hope of a service like this becoming available in the near future? I am 58 years of age and would be interested in a job which would both benefit the senior citizens of West Virginia and myself and my husband's personal income.
I would love to become a lobbyist to work in Charleston and Washington for the benefit of others in our age group as baby boomers and senior citizens but could not afford to do it as a volunteer as we too need a paycheck to survive until the time that we can start to draw on our accounts.
