Germany

One of my favorite places to visit is Germany. I lived there for a breift time during college and really enjoyed traveling around the country. My favorite city in Germany is probably Berlin. It just has such a unique history that it is really moving to visit there. It also has great museums and shopping. It has changed a lot since I was last there in 1998, but I can't wait to visit again.

Scenery-wise, though, I adore the Rhine River Valley. Beautiful valleys, vineyards and castles.

Also - don't miss the cathedral in Cologne. It is a gothic gem!
