disabled 50+ suggestions for solo travel?
have an invitation from out of state friend to visit her this summer. i have an in-home care aide who is also my sister m-fri. however, i would not be able to have her on-the-clock help as agency would not cover this.
would appreciate all positive suggestions to the challenges of traveling with disabling health conditions.
ie not able to carry luggage, medical supplies, along with health considerations.
prob. would attempt a direct flight- (have not been on a 'plane' in more than 35 years!)
how much help can be expected of airport/airline personnel?
appreciate all positive suggetions!
